Signature Sounds Events for the Weekend of December 9th through December 11th

Signature Sounds is bringing you yet another weekend of exciting shows featuring none other than.... Signature Sounds artists!

Chris Smither will be rounding out 2011 with his last two concerts of the year. Catch him at Me & Thee Coffeehouse in Marblehead, MA on Friday 12/9 and at Flying Monkey in Plymouth, NH on Saturday 12/10.

Kris Delmhorst will be playing in Princeton, IL on Saturday December 10th at the Princeton Coffeehouse.

Lori McKenna and Mark Erelli will be playing two cover nights this weekend - Under the Covers: A night of cover songs with Lori McKenna, Jake Armerding & Zack Hickman. See them on Saturday December 10th at Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA and on Sunday December 11th at Bridge Street Live in Collinsville, CT.

Eilen Jewell will be playing The Strand Theater in Rockland, ME on Friday December 9th with the Sweetback Sisters.

The EJ band will be playing with their other project The Sacred Shakers this weekend as well!

"The Sacred Shakers offer new life to the gospel genre by revisiting the stripped down country and bluesy gospel material that inspires them."

Catch them on Saturday December 10th at Johnny D's in Somerville, MA and on Sunday December 11th playing Roots Hoot House Concert in Peace Dale, RI.

The Sweetback Sisters are playing their 3rd Annual COUNTRY CHRISTMAS SING-ALONG SPECTACULAR! Complete with all their favorite XMas tunes and some wintery gems arranged in the Sweetback Signature Style. Words are provided so the audience can join in Catch them Saturday December 10th at Next Stage in Putney, VT and then on Sunday December 11th at Jalopy in Brooklyn, NY.

In case you missed it mentioned above - the SBS are also playing on Friday December 9th at The Strand Theater in Rockland, ME with Eilen Jewell. Note - this is a regular performance, not part of their Country Christmas Sing-Along Spectacular.

Peter Mulvey is playing a nine night residency at Cafe Carpe in Fort Atkinson, WI. Catch him this weekend on Friday December 9th with Michael Smith and Krista Detor and Saturday Dec 10th with Claudia Schmidt and Jim Schwall. Stay tuned next week for information on Redbird at Cafe Carpe!
